Jackson, MS, Feb. 2014 – SMG, the Worldwide Leader in Convention and Entertainment Management, is excited to welcome Discover The Dinosaurs back to the Jackson Convention Complex, March 1-2. Discover The Dinosaurs will give families and kids a chance to get up close and personal with the Cretaceous Crowd, right here in Jackson!

Jeff Larsen of Blue Star Productions said Discover The Dinosaurs is a hands-on exhibit featuring 40-60 animatronic and museum-quality replicas.

“This is a memorable way to combine an educational experience with fun for all ages,” Larsen said. “Not only can kids and adults interact with the dinos in a hands-on environment, we also will have the Dino Dig, Dino Den play area, Dino coloring area, scavenger hunt, and Dino theater.”

But the fun doesn’t stop there, Larsen said.

“We also will have gem and fossil panning, face painting, dinosaur inflatables, mini golf, and Dino rides available for an additional charge,” he said.

Kelvin D. Moore, SMG General Manager for the Jackson Convention Complex, said Discover The Dinosaurs is among the most thrilling events hosted by the Complex.

“There’s nothing like the feeling of being up close and personal with life-size dinosaurs,” Moore said. “Kids and adults alike can enjoy the sights, sounds and touch of these kings of the land before time.”

The event is set for March 1-2 at the Jackson Convention Complex. Admission is $18 for most adults and for children 13 years and older, and $16 for adults over 65. Admission for children 2-12 is $13 for the exhibit only and $22 for the exhibit plus the extra events. Children younger than one get in free.
