MISS AMAZING PAGEANT WAVES ITS WAY BACK TO JACKSON

   

amazingJackson, Miss. – SMG, managers of the Jackson Convention Complex (JCC), and world leader in venue management, is proud to welcome the second annual Mississippi Miss Amazing Pageant to the Jackson Convention Complex on April 19, 2014.

Miss Amazing, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of providing opportunities for young women with disabilities. Participants in the Miss Amazing pageant demonstrate their talents by showcasing their evening attire while taking part in interviews and preparing their own introductions. All participants are awarded with a trophy and crown; however, only one participant from each age group is chosen to represent her peers throughout the year. The only entry fee for participants is a donation of five cans or boxes of food. These items, along with a portion of the proceeds from the event, are donated to charity organizations all across the state.

The Talent Showcase begins at 5 p.m., and the Final Show starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for the Talent Showcase and the Final Show and $10 for the Final Show only. Tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
