Clear Bag Policy – Publicly Ticketed Events
To provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, the Jackson Convention Complex enforces a Clear Bag Policy for all publicly ticketed events.
Approved Bags:
✔ Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”
✔ Small clutch bags (with or without a strap) no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”
✔ Medically necessary bags and diaper bags (subject to security screening)
Prohibited Items:
❌ Backpacks, tote bags, fanny packs, and oversized bags
❌ Wagons, strollers (unless for ADA accommodations), and carts
❌ Outside food, drinks, or coolers
❌ Cigarettes, cigars, vapes, e-cigarettes, and all tobacco products
❌ Marijuana, including vapes, edibles, or any cannabis-related products (regardless of legal status)
❌ Pins, sharp objects, or any item deemed dangerous by security
Enforcement:
- All prohibited items, including cigarettes, vapes, and other tobacco/marijuana products, will be confiscated.
- Guests found with prohibited items may be asked to leave the premises.
These policies apply to all publicly ticketed events hosted at the Jackson Convention Complex.
